Balgus Genesha

Balgus is a warrior of the kingdom of Fanelia (Van's kingdom) and one of the three swordmasters of Gaea. He is extremely well with sword fighting, as he holds enough skill to fight a guymelef by himself. He was a strong influence on Van as he grew up, almost as of a father. Balgus was also the teacher of Allen. (Amazing he trained the 2 best swordsmen in Gaea!) He is killed in battle during the invasion of Fanelia while sacrificing his life for Van to escape, but memories of him still return thoughout the show.
