The Vision of Escaflowne is an excellent anime that combines many elements of action, romance, and fantasy. A remarkable masterpiece and a definite anime worth looking in to. The story revolves around Van, a young warrior and king from the world of Gaea, and Hitomi, a high school girl who is thrown into a complety new world and the adventures that lie within it. Escaflowne is a great anime with a very relaxing feeling and intense action sequences. The character's personalities develop extremely well as the show progresses. The Vision of Escaflowne is in my opinion, one of the best anime out there.
