Allen Shezar

Allen Shezar is a noble knight of the army of Asturia. He is an excellent swordsman, perhaps better than Van, and is a huge hit with the ladies. Allen is a very mature character that always sticks to business and is never sidetracked. He is always a good friend of Van and the others. Van also grows relationships with both Princess Millerna and Hitomi (brings up some adversaries), and eventually he is turned against by his own country. Allen is a great character to have as part of the Escaflowne cast, and is essential to the developement of the show.
